We are a strictly non smoking establishment.
We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and the
Babbacombe Bay Hotel. All bookings made in advance online, by telephone or in person, are accepted on basis that the terms and conditions of the Babbacombe Bay Hotel have been read, understood and agreed.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS IN THE HOTEL
If you purchase a special offer or the pay on booking rate, please note that your reservation is non-refundable.
Payment for all bookings is due 7 days prior to your arrival date.
We require valid credit card details to hold the booking. The details are stored securely in our online safe and your card must be valid until the day of your departure.
7 days prior to your arrival payment will be taken using the card details supplied and a confirmation of your payment sent to you.
Please note that once bookings have been charged 7 days prior to your arrival they are non-refundable.
We will however try to sell the room for you should you choose to cancel and should we resell the room we will refund the cost less an admin fee of £50. We do suggest that customers take out holiday insurance.
If the conditions concerning pre-payments are not upheld by the client, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice.
All rates quoted are per room per night; subject to availability and include VAT. Rates quoted cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion. All quotations are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of any offer, unless otherwise stated.
Charges for damaged or lost keys
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage to the hotels property or structure, caused by the accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act. If this damage comes to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card. We will issue an invoice for the amount to the registered address. A charge of £50 will also be made for failure to return the room key.
In the case of Government changes on taxation, no notice need be given by the hotel. Even if the booking has been confirmed in writing, the hotel is obliged to pass these charges on.
Possessions & Parking
The hotel cannot accept liability for items lost, stolen or damaged whilst in the hotel, or its grounds.
On-street parking (free) is available nearby to the hotel. However, a public car park is available to the rear of the hotel; for which charges apply. We do have 2 'loading bays' for guests' use on arrival or departure, but these must be kept clear at all other times. CCTV is in operation. Guests will be responsible for the orderly and safe conduct of their group of guests.
Cancellation by the Hotel
In the rare instance that the hotel may have to cancel your booking, we will endeavour to relocate or reschedule your stay at your convenience, and at a comparable location or time. However, the hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking without liability on its part, in the event of any damage or disruption to the hotel by fire, flood, power failure, industrial action, weather conditions or any other cause beyond the control of the hotel management, which will prevent the hotel from fulfilling its obligation to the consumer.
